Hi Dears!
I have a Domino Server 6.5.5FP1 working as mail and SMTP server. There’s an application running in Linux, in the same network, which sends mail through Sendmail to that domino server, which should relay the messages to the internet.
Anyway, it is not working. My log tells me that the sender (mysql@hostname) is not allowed to send mail though the server, but the configuration document is not set to block it.
What could I do to solve this?
Thanks in advance
Miguel Dias
Subject: Sendmail to Domino does not work
Edit your configuration doc in the Domino server, Router/SMTP/Restriction and Control/SMTP Inbound Control
and set the IP address of the Sendmail server on this field, “Allow messages only from the following internet hosts to be sent to external internet domains:”
Then try it…

Hi, Carlos.
Is not it going to prevent all my other servers to send mail to the internet? I mean, there are then domino server routing mails through NRPC to the internet and I need them to keep it doing.
Thank you for your attention.

That is fine, your Domino server will still route mail to the internet base on the configuration doc. This is only to allow the Domino server to allow another server to deposit mail and have the Domino server route the mail to the internet.
