Sending html email with hotspots

I am trying to create an email with Hotspots in certain locations on the image. The Notes client lets me create all the hotspots when creating the email. But when I send the email to my hotmail account all I get is the image and no hotspots. If I send the same email to my notes account, the hotspots are that along with the image just the way I designed it. Why doesn’t it work with hotmail or am I creating this all wrong?

Thanks in advance,

Dave

You are not doing anything wrong it is just that other mail systems do not recognise everything that a notes server sends it so ignores it.

I work in a mixed mail environment of notes and outlook users and if I send a standard notes link using AppendDocLink then it does not appear in the outlook users inbox. I can get around it by using a url link.

Theres probably a way to do this but never having tried to do it myself either search the forum or hopefully wait for a reply explaining how to do it.
