This is a really odd one that I haven’t come across before. So any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have a user that is not able to send emails, he get the following message “Remote system is no longer responding”.
However, he is able to receive both internal and external mail.
Just a little backgroud:
I have had a few issues when I created this user. I had created him on the wrong server. I then removed him (person document, user.id, mail file, roaming profile …basically all traces), and then recreated him on the correct server.
The server is located in another state, which is connected to our local server. There are no connection issue there, and everyone else that is located in the other state is connecting to the server with out any issues.
I think this is due to connection documents no configured correctly, but I have tried to configure them using the logical connection flow (with out any luck).
I’m completely out of ideas and would really appreciate some guidance.
