Send VBS file in an email as a Button

I have a useful bit of ‘vbs’ code that I wish to distrbute by email to several users. I would like to send it as a ‘button’ or ‘hotspot’ in an email. Can somebody tell me how to code the button (lotusscript?) to run the vbs file ? Thankyou.

Hey Nick,

I see only two options. And you always have to write lotusscript.

  1. Detach the vbs file from the mail and execute it with shellexecute api. This can be written in lotusscript.

  2. Re-write you vbs completely in lotusscript. Don’t think there will be much difference between your vbs and the code in lotusscript.

Thanks for your reply. I’ve now sent it out as an ‘object’ icon. Which works OK - just not very pretty. I’ll look into converting it to lotuscript when I get a chance. Cheers.
