Last month I posted about performing replication without running the client and through the efforts of the forum participants resolved this by writing some vbscript.
Along a similar lines, if I am using that vbscript to replicate mail db’s. Outgoing mail does not get sent, since it gets posted to the mail.box.
Anybody find a way to have Notes send outgoing mail from mail.box via vbscript?
I’ve tried:
Set session=createObject(“Lotus.NotesSession”)
Call session.Initialize(“password”)
set db=session.getDatabase(“”,“c:\notes\data\mail.box”)
call db.replicate(“servername”)
but I get a message that the server doesn’t have a replica of that db… (which sorta makes sense) Thanks!
