I have registered a normal Notes ID. The purpose is to be able to send smtp internet mail only but do not want to receive inbound internet mail. How can I do this ?

You do not have to create a MAIL ID to send mail. Any DB in Domino can send mail. Create a DB using a MAIL Template and test it out for yourself.
You could always remove the MAIL INFORMATION from the person document ie set it to none (this would be to create the DB owner). This would be done so the outgoing mail would be sent by the same person (the owner of the DB). without the Owner information the mail would go out as the ID that creates it.

Say, for eg, I created a DB, abc.nsf from the mail template. I am using my Notes ID to access this DB where the ACL has been granted. When I send outgoing mail, the mail header info is still capture it at the recipient end which I do not want. Any thought, pls. Thanks.
