Send Mail from "Info-Mailbox"

Hi Folks,

Some of our customers have “info-Mailboxes” (like info@whatever.com, office@whatever.com, …). I think most companies do.

When a User composes a Mail with this Mailbox, the recipient can see who sent the Mail. But most companies don’t want that. They just want to have “info@whatever” as the sender.

The same Problem occurs when someone has multiple Mailadresses. Some of our customers has multiple domains. And some Users have one Mailadress per domain, like m.bosshard@domain1.com and m.bosshard@domain2.com.

In Outlook, you can change the account that should be used to send the Mail, can you do the same thing in Notes?

You could, but in the past I had some problems with antispamfilters of the recipients

Instead of sending the mail it has to be placed in the mail.box of the server. With that you can set a ‘From’ and a ‘Principal’ manually.

Important is, that To, CC & BCC are combined into the additional multivalue field ‘Recipient’.
