Hello,
On a LinuxBox, I’ve got Lotus Domino Server 6.5.1 and several other softwares of which Arkeia ( a backup solution). With this soft (Arkeia and others), I can send mail to administrator with logs but they use sendmail (or postfix).
How I can use this. If I try to launch postfix, I(ve an error because my port 25 is in use ( with lotus smtp server).
So I think write a program with Perl. But how can I write a mail and put in the mailbox’s lotus server in order send it ?
Best regards
Jerome

Can’t you just send properly formatted data to Domino’s port 25? I guess Perl has some libraries with API for composing SMTP e-mail.

Yes I can send a email via perl with MIME::Lite using port 25.It’s fine to send my logs. But what about concerning a soft like Arkeia ? This soft call /usr/sbin/sendmail and it is a link to /etc/alternatives/sendmail-command.
How can I change with my Perl’s script or with Lotus ?
Best regards
