We have to send an email (the same) to a lot of users (about 3000 users) inserted into a database.
We want that the email address of the receiver will be into the box of TO and not in BCC.
As the mail could be big (with attachment of 1 MB), we want to find a solution that will not collapse the server.
Could you help us?

I’m not an Lotus Notes Admin, so I don’t have much ability to comment on how many e-mails and what size e-mails will cause your Domino servers to “stress” on getting 3000 1M e-mails.
As you want the TO line to be set for each person, and I assume you don’t want 3000 names in the To line incase someone hits reply to all and says please remove me from this list. You will need to toop throught the names and send 3000 individual e-mail.
What you could do, incase you’re worried about spamming your server with all these e-mails is “pause” between each e-mail or after so many e-mails to give your server time to process the mail. The issue then being it means the e-mail will take longer to send to everyone. Maybe have a 2 second pause between e-mails. That would still take 100 minutes to send to everyone.
Just some ideas.
