Having just upgraded from Notes 6.0.4 to 8.5.2, when running Notes in Std Mode, the Selection Margin is not showing in the Mail Client. This leads to issues when trying to move or delete mail or even restore deleted items, as even though you highlight a mail item, when press delete or restore the wrong mail item is actioned. I see from previous etries in this Forum that 8.5.1 was supposed to fix this.

But are you asking how to get the margin to show in the inbox? File, Preferences, Basic Notes Client Configuration…last or 2nd to last is the option to show check marks in margin for selected docs. Sorry if I didn’t follow what your issue is exactly.

BUT, why was it only affecting mail and not the systems in Notes???
