I’ve got archiving set up and I select a few documents to archive (to a database on a server) it works great with less or equal to 2000 documents. If I select more documents than that I get a message box that simply says “archive operation failed”. As anyone seen this and is there a work around (other than the obvious selection of less documents).

I’ve seen this on clients archiving mail to local. I’ve noticed a connection between the number of documents before it bombs, and the amount of RAM in the machine. My conclusion as that it was a memory issue (as you are essentially doing a copy/paste). So, it’s either fewer docs or more memory.

I’ve got 1GB of RAM so I suppose 2000 is the maximum number of docs. Drag when you are trying to clean up peoples mail files.
