HiI try to make a security policy in a secondary domino directoy. It works like a charm on the primary address book (names.nsf), but not in the secondary one (nameskd.nsf). I want to force the internet users to change their password after one year. I can not identify the admin process that should do it.
AdminP seams to work on that address book, because the flag for the password change at first use, works.
The database is registered in the directory assistance.
Just getting into this area myself. I have discovered a curious aspect to this and wonder if you have yet.
What doesn’t work (though looks the obvious way to the novice): Creating Policies and Settings in the secondary directory and applying them to person documents in that directory
What does work: Cutting person documents out of the secondary directory, pasting them into the primary directory, applying policies created in the primary, then cutting and pasting these person documents back into the secondary directory
Conclusion: Policies and Settings created in (the Policy Name Space of ) a secondary directory are not read by the server.

Hi ClintI did not have that idea. For the case I hade, it is too late. But I will try that. Probably it is enough to paste the text of the policy, which I created in the primary adressbook.
