Is there any special group that users have to be in to run @Command([Tools RefreshSelectedDocs])? In the Security Tab of my server document, do I have to add this specific user to the Administrators or Database Administrators field?
I have a user who has been granted Manager access to a specific database. He wants to be able to refresh documents by himself, and I want to grant him this authority. Any assistance that can be provided would be most appreciated.
Thanks, Shil.
Subject: Security and @Command([Tools RefreshSelectedDocs])
@Command([Tools RefreshSelectedDocs]) is executed locally on the Notes client and is not affected by security settings in the Server document.
As long as someone has appropriate access (Editor or higher) in the ACL of the database (containing the documents to be refreshed) and can see the documents to be refreshed then there shouldn’t be a problem.
Are you experiencing any errors and if so what are they?

I think the usual confusion is that there is no smarticon for this setup by default. Anyone can run this command and they have the same rights as if they were opening the document and refreshing manually.

Thanks for responding so quickly. We also use Percussion’s PowerFlow which I found to be the culprit. Basically, even though the user had MANAGER access to this specific database, because the refresh also involved moving the document into another state, the user was being disallowed by PowerFlow. Your response basically confirmed that for me, so thanks again. - Shil.
