Is there a way to secure a folder in Notes 8 ?

Business Case:

We receive our pay stubs via e-mail. I would like to move these “paystub e-mails” to a folder that is secured with a password. In case my Lotus Notes application was compromised by a hacker, I would like to try and add another layer of security by password protecting this “paysub” folder.

Any suggestions ?

Subject: Have the data encrypted by the sender, instead

This is via internet mail, right? - The data is carried over public networks before it hits your company at all.

=> Encryption should be done before sending - and based on this, I guess you don’t need any additional local things at all.
