Searching on two fields using SearchView

I have two fields in a form, Subject and Category, that I want to search on. This is the code in the $$Return field of my search form:

database := @Subset (@DbName; -1);

“[/” + database + “/” + “Searchable”

  • “?SearchView&Query=” + SearchString + “&SearchMax=0&SearchOrder=3]”

So, SearchString contains the word that the person is searching for. Now, the user wants to search for that word within a Category. I can get it to work when I hardcode the name of the category under “View Selection” in the View, ex) SELECT (@If(Category = “Education”)). But, there are 40 different categories, so I would have to create 40 different Views and 40 different $$SearchTemplate forms.

Does anyone know of an easier way to do this?

If they only need to search for that word within a category, could you use a single category view embedded on a form?

Doesn’t work that way because the results come back in the $ViewBody field.
