I have a custom search form that uses some ‘hard’ values and also a fuzzy (word variant).

If someone chooses just the fuzzy - its ok

If someone chooses just a ‘hard’ value - its ok

I someone chooses both, I need to search for variants on one field and only those ‘hard’ values in the others.

So my idea was to do db.FTSearch on the variant value and then search within those results for the ‘hard’ values.

Set coll = db.Search(string, …)

then something like

Set coll = coll.FTSearch(formulas, …)

Has anyone used a combination of searches to “search within these results” type of search?
