Is the search in domino limited to full word matches? For example, if I search for “invoice”, I find multiple results. However, if I search for “inv” or invoi" I don’t get any results. Is this normal for domino? Seems like a fairly limited search function if so.

Have you created a full text index in the database - done via the search field/settings.
You have a simple search function in Notes which is very simple Or you have the Full Text search which gives you many search options and allows you to search pretty much everything.

We do have full text indexing on the databases, it was just a matter of using wildcards in the search terms and it seems to work that way. Though in my search options from the full client, use word variants is checked but doesn’t seem to affect behavior. Fuzzy search seems to work without wildcards
