Hi All,

I have reader access to a db in acl , i searched the database based on a keyword,

shall i get that documents or not?

Subject: Search in database

I’m not quite sure what you mean by searching based on a keyword. I assume you are using the search bar at the top of a view, in the Notes client.

People with reader access to a database can search the database. If you are using the search bar at the top of a view, you search the current view only.

If your database contains documents with readers fields, your search will only return documents to which you have read access, otherwise it will return all documents in the view that match your search.
