I’m having a problem with searching in one of our databases. It says the index is there and that it updated today, but there are documents (a lot of documents) that search will not find.
Can anyone suggest where to start. I’ve re-built the index and restarted the server a few times now and nothing changes.

Perhaps it would help to physically delete the entire full text search directory structure under the database on the server, that is, the .ft directory. You could click the “Delete Index” button on the database properties box first, then delete the .ft directory with the operating system, and then create a new index.
