Script question with document attachments

I have a question on Lotus script. Currently I have the following code which works great. However, I was wondering if there is a way to change the location of the document that is opened. I would like to make a RTF that holds the document in the database. The agent that opens the document would then look to the field rather than the absolute path on the server.

Current Code is as follows:

objWord.Documents.Open “\Server\Share\AppWFields.Dot”

Is this possible and if so where would I point the “Open” command to?

Hmm,

You should embedded your document as an embedded objet and not a file.

Give a look at NotesEmbeddedObject class from Designer help.

yes,

You can change the code to grab the object from the RTF.

However, what is the advantage of fixing something that does not appear to be broken?
