I am looking for an example script for the following issue. From FormA I want a button to call FormB. FormB prompts the user for a new customer name, saves, and then returns to FormB. What is the most efficient method?

In formA add a button with the following code

Dim uiw As New NotesUIWorkspace

Dim session As New NotesSession

Dim db As NotesDatabase

Dim doc As NotesDocument

Set db=session.CurrentDatabase

Set doc=New NotesDocument(db)

doc.Form="FormB"

Call uiw.EditDocument(1,doc)

this will actually take you to FormB without closing formA.

In a button on formB add following code to close the form

Dim uiw As New NotesUIWorkspace

Dim uidoc As NotesUIDocument

Set uidoc=uiw.CurrentDocument

uidoc.Close

This will close the FormB. Since Form1 was still open, it will return to that.
