Scheduling a java agent to run?

Hi.

I am trying for the first time to schedule a java agent to run evry 10 minutes

I have done dozens of script and formula agents on a schedule and had no issues.

Is there something different for scheduling java agents?

I looked in the Agent FAQ and could not see anything related to this.

I dont even get an agent error on the console?

Any ideas?

Simple Java agents should be scheduleable in the same way as a Lotusscript agent with the same restrictions.

All I can suggest is checking if AMGR has the agent listed as needing running (tell amgr sched), and double check agent log, and Misc Events on server log for any error messages.

Feel like an idiot. found the problem, still had the agent to run on a different server !!!

All works ok like other agents

If you run ‘agent test’ from Designer it would have told you this - it is a common mistake and the little expert system built into Designer would have reminded you about this gotcha!
