Scheduled Agent

Hi,

I need to write a scheduled agent that runs once every month. The purpose of this agent is it should run through all the documents in a view and if the document creation date is less than 2 months, it should delete the document from the database.

Ideally speaking if the agent runs on Nov’ 1 2006 then it should remove all documents created before September ’ 30 2006.

Can anyone help me with the code.

In the reservation database, there is a purge agent that delete documents older than a certain date, i think it’s a godd start

Hi,

Do the following:-

  1. Make a copy of Database in another folder , named \Archive

  2. Open Database u want to archive, create a view and write SQL quiery, which will contain all the documents u want to archive.

  3. Creat a new agent for example :- Test, click on Add action, from Action select copy from database – , and same way create another action for Delete from Datbase.

Save the Agent.

  1. Then schedule the agent.

  2. All the steps are not mention clearly, try to uderstand and do it . I think u will get solution definetly.
