Schedule a Command

Hello, I know how-to run a schedule task or program using Domino administrator, Configuration TAB, Server - Programs document to run my ‘Compact’ job on a specific time.I need to run a job every day on a specific time for a particular reason.

The command is ‘restart task SMTP’ and ‘restart task router’.

I tried it using Programs Document but it gives me an error message ‘unable to run program restart: Unable to locate program’.

How can run such a command on a specific time like – restart task SMTP?

Please help.

The compactor shuts itself down when it’s done, so you don’t have to restart it, just start it at the designated time.

sorry, i am not clear on it. i want to schedule this task “restart task SMTP” to restart smtp task, not to shutdown.

program: server arguments: -c “restart task smtp”

(nserver on windows)
