Sched Crashing every night at 2:00 AM

Every night at 2:00 AM the server generates the following error:

03/13/2003 02:00:00 AM SchedMgr: Unable to load system level detail harvesting settings.: Invalid or nonexistent document

03/13/2003 02:00:00 AM Error initializing Schedule Manager: Invalid or nonexistent document

You can restart sched with a Load Sched after this and it runs until the next night with no problem.

I have rebuilt busytime.nsf to no avail.

The server isn’t in a cluster.

Thanks for any insights,

Rob

Check out this similar problem and its solution

Problem

The SchedMgr task fails to initialize and prints errors in the log:

09/01/2003 02:00:00 AM SchedMgr: Unable to load system level detail harvesting settings.: Multiple users with same name found in Domino Directory

09/01/2003 02:00:00 AM Error initializing Schedule Manager: Multiple users with same name found in Domino Directory

Solution

There is more than one Default Domain Configuration document in the NAB. The Default Domain configuration document is identified with an asterix (*) as the server name and can be located through the Server\Configuration view in the NAB.

The administrator should integrate the necessary settings into one document and/or assign individual documents to specific servers.

Subject: Thanks but that’s not it but here is some more info

I only have on config doc in the entire NAB so that’s not it.

Your problem made me think that maybe the problem stems from the fact that there is a secondary directory that is referenced by DA that has copies of all of the person documents and resource documents that are in the primary directory. This shouldn’t matter because Sched shouldn’t be looking at the secondary directory but who knows.

Thanks for the tip,

Rob

and see if they can help you. The problem is something in your NAB and its causing some funky behaviour in SchedMgr. Ive never seen it nor has QE.
