ScanMail not detecting viruses

We have a problem with ScanMail on z/OS with Domino 6.5.

We upgraded from 5.0.12 to 6.5.0 Sunday night and since that ScanMail is running (tmmscan) but it is not detecting any viruses, not even eicar.com

We are running ScanMail version 2.51 patch 2 and in the readme, it says that it supports Domino 6. We tried to install version 2.51 Service Pack 1 (new numbering format for pattern file), but it still doesn’t work.

Does anybody has any idea about what might be wrong ?

  1. What pattern file?2. Did you try taking this to TrendMicro? Seems to me it is more of an issue with ScanMail than with Domino…

We also have this problem. We get the errormessage “File does not exist” after starting tmmscan oder repscan.

Hi, there is a new version (2.6 sp1) of scanmail available on this webpage: http://www.trendmicro.com/downloadAfter installation this new version our virusscanner works fine again.

As you say, we installed the new 2.6 SP1 version and everything works now.
