Has anyone found that they lose changes saved to an excel spreadsheet that receives values from other spreadsheets? The excel is the only attachment in the notes document. The linked sheets that provide updates are located in a directory on the users PC.
They are using the edit button and saving the excel sheet as well as the notes document. I’m not sure if having those links for updates to other spreadsheets is causing a problem

This is an Excel-related issue.
Choose Options from the Tools menu. Excel displays the Options dialog box.
Make sure the Calculation tab is displayed. (Click here to see a related figure.)
Clear the Update Remote References check box.
Click OK.
Reembed the file then.

Thanks, I have another question about this. The user saved some changes to the file and re-opened the next day and the changes were there. Today, the changes are no longer in the file attached to the notes document.
I thought that the temp files are removed once lotus notes is closed. Could it be possible for an old temp file that exists to overwrite the attached file? Or maybe this again more to do with excel and back up files, etc.
