Save Excel as an attachment

I have an Excel template saved to the profile document. I can open the spreadsheet in Excel from within a form. Is it possible to for the users to make changes to the template and save the changed spreadsheet to the form as an attachment?

Your question is rather vague. Can you be more specific about what you are doing already and what you’re trying to do?

BTW what does “changing the template” have to do with your question? Users changing the .ntf file? Why do you think that would help you accomplish what you’re talking about?

Sorry I wasn’t clear. The users would change a .xlt file and save it as an .xls within a notes form. Can this be done with VB script in the Excel? Or does the user have to save the spreadsheet to the harddrive and then attach it to the notes form?
