Save deletes line of code!

Hi!

When I save in Designer, designer deletes the row of code in programers pane where the cursor is!

It doesnt happen always, it happens from time to time!

Why, how can I stop this?

Hi Brane,

This problem occurs whenever there is an erreoneous code in some action and if you are trying to save the other action.

Means, If erreoneous code present in Query save event and if you are trying to save queryclose event then this kind of problem occurs.

When it happens to me, I just restart Notes and after that it works fine.

This is a known bug in early versions of 6.5 that is not present in 6.5.4…

I believe it mostly happens if you change the code without adding a new line, but upgrading is easier.

If you search this forum (and the R4/5 forum) you can see that it has been an ongoing problem for a very long time. I went for years without seeing it, then it mysteriously popped up. I deleted and reinstalled Notes and that fixed it for me.
