I installed SAV3.1 on Domino 6.01 server(Win2K). It is single Domino server in company’s LAN and not too many clients (about 50)After I enabled Scanning for E-mail routing - delivery of any mail with any attachment became extremely slow. For example - it took 8.5 hours to receive mail I sent to myself.
Any idea?

What’s the hardware spec of your server? Also, did you look at the message headers to check that it really was your server causing the delay?
I think to run ND6 and SAV you will need a decent processor (PIII or above) and 512 Mb RAM at least (for 50 Notes client users this should be OK).
Maybe you need to increase the number of threads available to the router task…

Leighthank you for fresh look at the situation. But hardware is pretty good here- PIII * 2 CPU 700Mhz, 1500 Mb
Message headers confirm that I sent e-mail, say, in 4pm and receive it in 6:30 am next day
As for number of threads - according to documentation I can multiply it by 2 as maximum. can it influence so greatly?

Are you at SP3 for W2K server? We had a problem in SP2 where router would sometimes consume 100% CPU for stretches of time and delivery was very slow (both with and without SAV 3.1). Update to SP3 fixed it.
