Sap to Notes (to create an Calendar Appointment ).. Need Help

Hi ,

My client uses SAP and has a data of employees , that trackes vacation / personal / Sick etc days for each employee.

The empoyee creates a request in SAP and what I need is the data is emailed to employee that the request has been entered and once when the user opens his Notes email , he gets the information that the request for vacation day is entered and once he accepts the request , somehow the request should be converted to user’s Appointment (and the document should be saved as a Calendar)…

How can I achieve this …Any ideas…

I am new to SAP and i don’t know how the data from SAP will flow in user’s Notes email and converted to Calendar entry …somehow the user will have to accept the request and only then the calendar entry should be created.

Please help.

Look at iCalendar;It’s well documented, and works on most clients.

I use it to send calendar appointments from Domino to Outlook.

I’m not familiar with SAP, and I don’t know how configurable is the current email, however.
