maybe a silly q. - but I do not find anything in the prefs, neither in the help:
Where do I activate Sametime SSO out of the notes client? It is said to be possible (“You can use Domino SSO with embedded Sametime in Notes 8.0.1” Robert Ingram).

I’m not too familiar with this how sametime uses Domino SSO, but Domino SSO can be setup through creating a Web SSO configuration document in the NAB. To do this, open names.nsf and navigate to the Internet Sites view, and click “Create Web SSO Configuration”. For more information on SSO, please refer to the administrator help document titled “Creating a Web SSO Configuration document”.

I think you’re talking about SSO from Notes8 client, yes? Not the larger picture of SSO\trust\credentials for servers?
In Notes8 client, go to File\Preferences, in the Sametime\Server Communities section. There should be a community entry under that for your ST community. Open this up and in the Log In tab, under User name and password fields, should be a checkbox for “Use Domino single sign-on if available”
