Hi,
We have installed Lotus Notes 6.5.4 en our users (about 1200). Configuration of the Sametime connection is properly completed and activated the SSO. Everything works correctly.
We are going to make an update of the 1200 Lotus Notes clients to version 8.5. (we use Lotus Smart Upgrade).
I’m testing this update.
After I upgrade a client, data connection of Sametime client disappear: Host server, user name, password and SSO check.
If I manually filling the fields and enabled SSO check, everything works correctly. But we can’t do this in 1200 computers.
We seek a solution to these credentials don’t disappear after upgrading the client from 6.5.4 to 8.5.
In Lotus Notes Basic Edition, Sametime connects properly after the upgrade. In Standard Edition no.
I have completed the new fields of policy (Desktop Setting - Preferences - Instant Messaging) relating to Standard Edition, but only populates the server name (the SSO doesn’t work).
Thanks.
