Is there a way to restrict someone from adding a contact within Sametime. We have installed it one some of our shop floor machines and added a contact to a engineer but users have figured out that they can also see each other.

On the Sametime client, if you preconfigure the setting you can disable searching, which will disable users from searching the nab to add user.

Preconfigure what setting? Like I said we need them to have the ability to only add specific contacts not an entire view of the names.nsf.
