I have recently upgraded to 8.0.2 standard client, and we have recently enabled our Sametime server.
The problem i am finding is that athough i have added public groups to my contact list they do not show all the users that are in those groups.
All the users listed in the group are valid notes users and are setup and authorised with sametime.
I have checked to ensure that i do not have the “Show online users only” ticked.
if i create a personal group with these people in then they all show up as expected.
Has anyone seen this problem before where all users in the public group do not appear in the sametime contact list.
Cheers,
Dave

Subject: Sametime Public Groups
We have created groups in our university address book that include the names of those in, say, the business office, the systems group, the helpdesk, etc. The groups are along the lines of uno.its.groupname. The groups are populated with the appropriate names. It’s then simple to add a group to Sametime, and that group will contain the appropriate names. Hope that helps.

Subject: Sametime contact list not showing all users
thanks for responding but unfortunately not.
Our groups already exist. They contain valid users and we use them already for email and ACL.
When i add that public group to my contact list it only shows some of the users and not all of them as i would expect it to.

Subject: multiple servers
We have a 2 node domino cluster running the sametime functions on AIX.
We are using a DNS round robin for connection (as per IBM best practice).
Hope this helps to get to the bottom of this.
