Sametime chat trasnscript

All,

Does anyone know why and how to set chat transcripts ? On some clients it saves it locally as a html file and on other it saves it as a file with no extension and I do not know how to open this ?

I have looked on the web but cannot find the unmarked format.

Thanks for that but my question was more around the why do some clients save the chat transcripts as html and some as a black (and appears to be encrypted)
