I recently upgraded to 8.0.2 HHF206. After the upgrade my calendar alerts(meetings) via sametime are no longer working. I am using the sametime integrated with notes. Does anyone have any idea why this is no longer working. I checked the preferences and everything is set properly

When you say “calendar alerts via Sametime”, do you mean you scheduled on line meetings from your notes calendar? Using the integrated sametime client should not have any impact on calendar alerts as they are to separate entities. Do regular calendar alerts work fine?

I’m running the 8.5 client and have this feature working. There shouldn’t be any difference between 8.0.2 or 8.5. Go under Files PreferencesExpand Sametime
Click on Auto-Status Changes
Click on Meetings scheduled in my calendar and set your preferences the way you want
Expand Auto-Status Changes
In the Calendar Service make sure that Check Lotus Notes calendar for meetings to allow auto status changes is enabled.
The default refresh interval is 10 minutes. Try lowering that to 5 minutes.
Click Apply then OK
Log out of Sametime and Log back in.
Subject: I have the same issue
Unfortunately, I can’t tell you what to do but I can tell you that I you are not the only one with this issue. I recently migrated to Notes 8.0.2. Since then I have been unable to convince Notes to make automatic status changes when I am in meetings, or away, etc. and I have not been able to convince it to notify me when meetings start. I have set (and reset) the sametime preferences for this quite a few times to no avail. In Notes 7 your Lotus Notes password had to be entered in Calendar Service preferences in order for Sametime to access your Notes calendar and get this to work. Notes 8 help still indicates this is necessary. However, there is no option to specify the Notes password on the Calendar Services tab in Notes 8. I’m not sure if this is part of the problem or if it is just left over wording in the help text. In any case, I have wasted a lot of time trying to get my calendar notifications and auto status changes to function. I have been able to get the calendar alarm function to work, so that helps remind me of upcoming meetings but I really need the sametime alerts and the auto status updates to work again.
