Sametime Awareness in Notes Client 6.5.2

I have not been able to get the awareness feature working for Notes Client with our Sametime Server, which is using Domino LDAP for authentication.

All other Notes/Client Sametime integration features are working, however awareness does not show for users with Lotus Notes names like Anurag Singh/DEPT/LOC/DOMAIN.

Awareness however works for internet(ldap names) within the same client like a.singh@domain.com

I followed the Release notes updates of 6.5.2 which said that this is fixed, however it does not work for me… Could anyone comment/help?

SPR# TPAE5WJKBZ - Awareness in the Notes 6.5.1 client failed when pointing to a Sametime server using LDAP for authentication. This problem has been fixed in 6.0.4 and 6.5.2. This regression was introduced in 6.5.1.

have you tried the client settings for cannonical look up file → prefrence → instant msg → check that box for cannonical name look up in the notes client

Yes i have that option enabled as well. still the awareness does not work fully.

Has anyone got this working with 6.5.2

I’m having the exact same problem. Has anyone been able to fix this?
