i´ve posted the same in sametime-forum this morning, possibly someone can help me here:
Hi everybody,
I´m new to sametime 8.5.
I ran sametime 8.0.2 on a domino-server 8.5.1fp1 and everything worked fine; I could use ad-hoc-meeting rooms from either web, notes, or connect-client.
Now after installing /upgrading to sametime 8.5 standard server, I cannot use ad-hoc-meeting rooms. I can just chat and see the availability of other users.
what is missing?
I authenticate against domino-directory and on domino-server-console it says:
Sametime ActivityPro Sametime ActivityProvider
stmeetingserver Sametime Meeting Server
Sametime Server Running
In the web-server-console of the sametime-server (administer server) everything except “sttelephonyservice.exe” is up and running
I just need ad-hoc meeting-rooms, like I was used in 8.0.2, no other.
How to go on?
Do I need additional server components installed?
Do I need the whole meeting-server installed?
Do I need LDAP-authentication installed?
Do I need DB2 and Websphere installed?
Pleas give me some hints!!
