I have some users who can open the same mail database in one client twice. They think this is a feature, but since I can’t duplicate it, I think it is a bug. The mail DB is set to open when they start the client. Both the users are opening the same mail database at the same time on both their clients and this happens to both of them. Is this a feature and I am missing something or is it a bug that will be ironed out when I upgrade to 6.5? ANyone had any experience with this?

What do you mean by “open twice in one client”? I can have multiple objects from my mail database open at the same time, which is, so far as I can tell, fine and dandy. Even if it’s unintended, I don’t see it causing me any problems, so I wouldn’t consider it a bug as such.

I agree… Just click New Memo and the database opens another instance of your mail. Sounds good to me…

I experienced that bug(?) once. But can’t repeat it any more. I think it should be a bug. A single database shouldn’t be opened twice in a program. This feature is useless, and it may cause some synchronizing problems.
