I have Domino at work and use the Notes client at work and at home when I vpn to work.
I’d like to use the same notes client at home with the same id file to access my personal/home email too.
Can I do this? I created a separate mail file, but can’t figure out how to create a location doc or connection doc or server doc (not sure which) that I need to define my non-domino email server attributes.

Your Notes ID won’t mean much to your ISP; you probably want to create an account doc (from the Advanced\Accounts view of your address book) to specify the server, protocol (most likely POP; possibly IMAP), and credentials for receiving your personal email, and another for sending outbound mail via SMTP. If you need to keep work and home mail separate, you can create a separate location doc for each (with its own mail file if necessary), then restrict the locations from which each account doc is accessible.
