I have the Notes 6.0 client up and running very well in the multi-user mode on Citrix XPa. I’m storing each user’s data dirs on the terminal server itself, no more having to stick it off on the net somewhere. (C:\Documents and Settings<userid>\Local Settings\Application Data\Lotus\Notes\Data) This is where the multiuser approach of Notes 6 client wants to put the data dir on a Win2000 machine and I gladly obliged.
Right now, Notes 6 is working extremely well in this environment, with one small issue.
When users go to sign on, quite frequently the initial splash screen comes up, but it never progresses on to asking for User ID/Password. It just stops dead at this point. After closing down the client and re-trying this 1-3 more times, the normal password dialog box will come up.
Now is this a side-effect of my trying to enable single-signon? (single signon worked for a while, but now it’s iffy. Sometimes it works, sometime not). We’d gladly give up the convenience of single signon if it would prevent this startup issue.
