Running fixup yields error in view number 2034

After running a fixup -L command, one of the errors that came up was.

Error fixing view 2034 in Databases…

and then listed the location of the database.

Does anyone know how I can find out which view is view 2034?

Thanks

Subject: Purging views fixed the problem

I could not find view number 2034 or any real way to identify views in the way the server suggested.

But I went into Administrator and clicked Manage views for this particular database. I then purged the views and reopened them so they were rebuilt.

Ran fixup again and the error did not appear.

Open the database in Designer.

Open the ‘Views’.

Right click the first view, ‘Design Poerties’ - ‘Beanie’ tab.

click thru each view listed until you find ‘2034’. - if memory serves it could also be a Folder.

Try opening and resaving the view and see if that takes care of it. If not you might have to just delete the view and re-create it.

If the database is created via a template a Design Refresh might also fix it.

Hey Mark,

thanks for the response but it is giving the rather large NotesID numbers. THe huge hex numbers, none of them seem to have 2034 in these numbers.

I do not have that many views in this database, I can easily open and resave all of them and see if that resolves the issue. But otherwise I still have no idea where view 2034 comes from or how to find it.

Thanks

It might be that you have to convert the 2034 to hex -

Take a look and see if any of your views have a number of 7F2.

It’s been awhile since I had to do this - I might have left out that crucial piece of information!
