Runnig a R6 client but uses a R5 Devloper & Admin client

question , I wonder If I could this

Can you use an R6 client but when you developing and administrating than you must use only the R5 develop& admin client ?

Do a search in this forum and/or the R4/5 Forum on “dual install”. The isntructions are in here somewhere. I had to do the same thing when we first upgraded, since we still had a majority of clients on R5 and I didn’t want to modify any code in a way that wouldn’t work for them. I followed the instructions for a dual install.

If I recall, I found I had to open R6 first, and then I’d be able to open R5…but not the other way around. Or I could have it backwards.
