RunAS Smart Update questions

Howdy,

I have read the documentation regarding using the smart upgrade feature to update notes clients but am experiencing some issues.

I am attempting to upgrade from 8.0.2 to 8.5 and in itself works fine with the current setup. The issue is when the user doesn’t have admin rights.

I know the documentation says the user has to be local admins or to run a tool called SURunAs, but that hasn’t solved the problem.

The question is, what do you require to run RunAs, to get around having to give the users privileges they don’t require?

Explain the issues you are having with surunas, as this is probably your best route to go if your users do not have local admin rights.
