Run an agent anonymously

I would like to run an agent locally in my client, but I would like to run it anonymously. The agent should run once a day automatically, so I don’t want to login or give any Notes id. I did install the client with no id, but the server complains that it cannot find any cross certificates to authenticate me even when trying just to connect to the database.The database has the anonymous user in the ACL and I can connect to it from my notes id.

Is this a problem in the client, in the server of in both?

The client is 7.0.2 and the server is probably 6

I’m not sure why you would want (need) to do this. Fundemental security says that you must have an ID. The server or client can run an agent but it will always run under someones rights. Create an ID with the name Anonymous and run the agent with that ID.
