I have created af ew simple rules for mail filtering; if sender = X , then move to folder = Y.
But when I go to add, view or edit any rules, the previously created rules don’t appear within the Rules folder. However, the prevously created rules are still active, still filtering mail properly.
I’m wondering now how can I view, disable, or delete these rules if I can’t even find them anymore!? Anyone else have this problem?
Subject: Rules active, but disappearing
Dern, I’m sorry to hear that, as that was a problem I had in 5.0.x, and was hoping that had been corrected in 6.
My experience was that if you deleted a rule, without first ‘unenabling’ or turning it off, it’s viewing got corrupted and would make all of the rules disapear. I could use NotesPeek and see them still there in the Calendar profile, and they were still working, just not visible.
Any other confirmations that it is still broken this way in 6?
edit actually found this older link, that was where I had found my answere on the 5 forum

Subject: Rules active, but disappearing still happening in Notes 6.0.2CF1
I had this problem in the 6.0.2CF1 client. Deleting the calendar profile as described by Lance and using the LS code at http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/46dom.nsf/DateAllThreadedWeb/2ae6cf0ad44af46585256a2d00028df9?OpenDocument and then restarting the router fixed the problem. (Of course the mail profile preferences had to be reset.)

Follow-up: We have a disaster recovery (DR) Notes server at another location, which we are connected to by T1. When I checked my mail db over there, lo and behold, my RULES I had created were all there, and I was able to edit, delete, whatever.
Still wondering what’s going on here. I created these in production, and they can only be viewed and edited in DR? WEIRD. Any clues? Anyone?
