Router: Message nnnnnnnn contains no recipients

I’ve installed a new Domino 7.0 server and every 15 minutes I’m getting the following in the Mail Routing log.

23/12/2005 13:10:52 Router: Message 004867EC contains no recipients

23/12/2005 13:25:53 Router: Message 0049C7E0 contains no recipients

23/12/2005 13:40:54 Router: Message 004B27D4 contains no recipients

23/12/2005 13:55:55 Router: Message 004C87C9 contains no recipients

23/12/2005 14:10:56 Router: Message 004DE7BD contains no recipients

23/12/2005 14:25:57 Router: Message 004F47B3 contains no recipients

23/12/2005 14:40:58 Router: Message 0050A7A7 contains no recipients

23/12/2005 14:55:59 Router: Message 0052079B contains no recipients

Does anybody know what is generating these mails or how to trace where there are coming from?

I’ve installed Symantec Mail Security for Domino 5.0 - not sure if this is generating the mails.

I have no server rules configured.

The mail.box is empty.

The server is also running WebSphere Application Server.

There are no other Domino servers connecting to this Domino server.

Check this post:http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd6forum.nsf/55c38d716d632d9b8525689b005ba1c0/78a333bb41966ad885256f4e005c592b?OpenDocument

If it is rules that are causing the problem, then I would think the log.nsf mail entries should list (depending on the verbosity of the log setting) what client/process connected in order to send the message. Also, if you have trace turned on, you may be able to trace the message originator.

By enabling journalling I could see the mails we being generated by the ISpy task.Specifying an email address in events4.nsf in Event Generators\Mail Routing solved the problem.
