Hello,
This morning after an automatic restart by third party app I get the following errors on the console:
"03/05/2010 06:04:48 Router: Error searching mailbox file mail1.box: Router: Can’t request a specific mailbox because DBGroups is not enabled.
03/05/2010 06:04:48 Router: Error searching mailbox file mail3.box: Router: Can’t request a specific mailbox because DBGroups is not enabled.
03/05/2010 06:04:48 Router: Error searching mailbox file mail2.box: Router: Can’t request a specific mailbox because DBGroups is not enabled."
It was solved by restarting the server manually.
I haven’t found anything about this on the web…
Thank you for your help
Subject: Here is some information about the DBGroups error.
I ran into this problem this morning. There is a note about it here:
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1LO52267
The sequence of events is this.
-
The server shuts down hard.
-
When the server restarts it runs a consistency check on mail.box.
-
The server throws the “DBGroups” error and mail backs up in the mail.box. No mail is delivered.
I was able to work around the problem be shutting down the server and renaming mail.box. When I restarted Domino, the router created a new mail.box that worked fine. Then I was able to cut and paste the backlog of messages from the old mail.box to the new one so that everything was eventually delivered.
If you see the problem, you should open a PMR. Based on the last thing I’ve seen, IBM was waiting to get more reports about it before they would start working on a permanent fix.
