I have created several users called name.acme@acme.xx
The domain name acme.xx is our primary domain name (and domino domain) and it works to send mail to it as in user@acme.xx, however but not when using the domain name before @acme.xx
as name.acme@acme.xx
When sending mail to them from internet the router is unable to find them.
SMTP Server: Mail for sds.acme@acme.xx rejected for policy reasons. Recipient could not be found in the Domino Directory.
Why does is not work to have the domainname before the @ ?

The user looks ok in the $users view of names.nsf
